The main theme for August is Stability-Instability. When some unexpected event is thrown into your organized life, it de-stabilizes your order of things. In these times and in the larger picture, this is a good thing.
However, at some point the chaos around the instability needs to move back into some kind of order – preferably a new configuration and preferably not run by the same old patterns.
Full Moon is Sunday July 25 at 7:37 PM Mountain Daylight Time. The container from which you operate your daily life is being stretched and worked; you are being asked by spirit to step up to the plate. This is the time of giving birth to a new way of being and, as in real birth, there is no going back.
If you are in crisis, step up to the plate. Be honest, tell the truth, enjoy the ride, do something today that marks a new power in you. Say yes to something spontaneous and leave some room for spirit to bring you an unexpected gift.
New Moon with a total solar eclipse (not visible in North America) is Sunday, July 11 at 1:40 PM Mountain Daylight Time. If there is a crisis in your life, look for the opportunity and make some decisions. Stay away from places, people and situations that are not energetically clean if possible. Spend some time with yourself and with spirit.

Summer Solstice is Monday June 21 at 5:29 AM MDT (Mountain Daylight Time). The solstice is always a time of celebration and honoring the sun and its availability as an energy to us at this time of year. Especially in these times, use the solar energy to anchor and ground your path, your growth, your expansion.
Especially in these times, use the solar energy to anchor and ground your path, your growth, your expansion. The stage is set for great leaps of energy and you want your fuel tanks full. This day is the point of power.
My clients on Sedona retreats know this question all to well! Any healing, whether emotional or physical, requires two components for success: One, do you have a desire to heal? Two, what are you willing to do about it?

Nine days before succumbing to a coma and damage to multiple organs sustained during a sweat-lodge ceremony near Sedona, Lizbeth Neuman prided herself on leading a healthy and active lifestyle, her family and an attorney said Sunday.
Neuman, who died Saturday in a Flagstaff hospital bed surrounded by family, was among dozens who crowded into a sweat lodge Oct. 8 at the Angel Valley Retreat Center. In addition to Neuman, Kirby Brown, 38, of Westtown, N.Y., and James Shore, 40, of Milwaukee, died shortly after being rescued from the lodge.
